Collection: Embroidered Items
A well-known style of customising garments. Embroidery is more commonly known as the longer lasting style of printing.
We can offer embroidery on all kind of garments, from small initials on the kid's football socks to big logos on your tops.
There aren't really any limiting factors with embroidery, you can basically go as small or big as you like, as many colours as you like and any design. However, if you have a big logo on a standard t-shirt, we may advise you to choose a different style of printing. This is due to the weight of thousands of stitches on thin material, it's going to pull the shape of the t-shirt out of line and it's going to be all shriveled up and untidy when you wash it. But please don't panic, we can discuss this with you as some logos are fine.
The biggest thing to remember with embroidery is it does have to be digitalised, so that means it will have to redraw your complete logo or design so that it is the correct file that we can then stitch from. This doesn't affect you guys other than there is a 1 time set up fee for embroidery logos, this means that your first order with us will have a "design fee" added on, we will then keep your logo/design on file so any further orders will be without the design fee. The design fee isn't a big amount, some basic logos will even be free, but it does depend on the detail of your logo and therefore the time it takes for us to digitise it. An example of the design fee cost would be £20 £25 for a logo with text, a small image and 3 colours or £40 for an image of a race car with unlimited colours, 10 small logos etc.
When digitalising your logo, it can change the look and appearance of it slightly. If you have just text and simple shapes, lines or swirls, this doesn't affect you. If you have a picture of a race car or a very detailed logo, please remember we can only stitch so small without it looking messy. So sometimes the design can look slightly more cartooned or like a drawing, if you are worried about this, please speak to us and we can advise you further.
How do I look after my embroidery?
We only use high quality thread and bobbins, so aftercare is very easy. We use 100% natural thread to allow you guys the strongest, softest and most flexible logos. The thread is also anti-static and therefore can be washed on a normal cycle with other clothing. The more important factor is the garment the embroidery is on, the embroidery can be washed on a 60' cycle but that doesn't mean the garment can. So please wash as recommended for the item the embroidery is on. If you have a big logo or a heavy (very detailed) logo, you might find that whilst the garment is still wet, it can become slightly shriveled and puckered, if this happens, a quick iron over and it will be like new again.
Why have I got white paper on the back or clear material on the top of my logo?
We will remove as much of the stabilizing backing and toppers as we can but sometimes items do leave us with little bits left on, this is only used during the embroidery process to keep the fabric still and under tension. Both the backing and topper will dissolve in water, so after the first wash it will be gone.
What items can you embroider on?
You name it, we can probably do it. Hats, Clothes, Suit Bags, Leads, Bags, Beanies, Cushions, Blankets, Towels, Tea Towels, Sportswear, Socks, Pencil Cases and the list goes on.
